Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your nurage account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what we may need to keep.

How to delete your account

In the app

You can delete your account directly inside nurage:

  1. Sign in to your account (account deletion is available to signed-in users).
  2. From the home screen, open Settings.
  3. Under the Account section, tap Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation dialog and tap Delete account again to confirm.
  5. Your account and the data synced to our servers are permanently deleted, and you are signed out. This can't be undone.

By request

  1. Email support@nurage.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
  2. We verify the request comes from the account owner.
  3. We delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

What we may keep

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, billing and tax records related to past purchases (which may be kept for up to 10 years under applicable Turkish law) and minimal security logs. These are kept only as long as required and then deleted.

Books on your device

Books you kept only on your device (for example, on the Free plan or in guest mode) never leave your device unless you sync them. They are removed when you delete them in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it separately to stop future billing: through the store where you subscribed, or from your nurage billing settings on the web. Deleting the account alone will not stop store charges.
